I love it when the Magician card appears. It’s at those times when I feel it is possible to manifest what I have hoped; when finally, the Devil (repression and unconsciousness) is held at bay and one has the chance to triumph. He is dressed in bright red and white, indicating the power of red energy and the first chakra with the purity of his intentions and motivations reflected by the seventh chakra.Because of the combination of creation and purity, this is usually a card of successful manifestation.
Even though it seems redundant, the Magician card is all about magic, and the magic is being able to expressinto action what you onlydream about. The Magician is full of faith in his creation. In fact, it is not necessary for him to get the acquiescence of others in order to create. He has the power within to do this.
The use of “Will” as opposed to will power must occur. As we know, when we try to do “will power,” we are sometimes thwarted by our own feelings of weakness or addiction. For us to create, our will must be united with all of the centers in our bodies. For that union to happen, we must rely on Divine will.
I like to think of Divine Willas the joint effort of the heart, the mind and the spirit. All must be joined together. We all know that old saying, “The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.”Even though we have aspirations to produce or create something, we are sometimes held back by our own unworthiness and fear, blocks that arise out of second or third chakra fears.Sometimes those fears are so great, they put a damper on our creations..
The Magician interestingly enough, has no qualms or second thoughts about his creations. He is strong and united behind them andthere is no doubt. .He has his right hand lifted up to the heavens and knows that the universal life energy will be available to him for manifesting with his left.
The questions to be asked are:Can you make the possible real? Can you carry out your plans? Do you understand your motivations?Do you believe in who you are or what you are doingso that you can call upon theforce of Divine Will?
Lastly, it would appearthat commitment and faith in your creation, combined with an alignmentof Divine Will fulfill the requirements of the Magician. When these elements are in place, this becomes alchemy and that’s the magic.
INTUITION IN ITS MOST HIGHLY DEVELOPED FORM
IS NOTHING LESS THAN THE VOICE OF GOD OR SPIRIT WITHIN.
