The use of “Will” as opposed to will power must occur. As we know, when we try to do “will power,” we are sometimes thwarted by our own feelings of weakness or addiction. For us to create, our will must be united with all of the centers in our bodies. For that union to happen, we must rely on Divine will.
I like to think of Divine Will as the joint effort of the heart, the mind and the spirit. All must be joined together. We all know that old saying, “The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” Even though we have aspirations to produce or create something, we are sometimes held back by our own unworthiness and fear, blocks that arise out of second or third chakra fears. Sometimes those fears are so great, they put a damper on our creations. .
The Magician interestingly enough, has no qualms or second thoughts about his creations. He is strong and united behind them and there is no doubt. . He has his right hand lifted up to the heavens and knows that the universal life energy will be available to him for manifesting with his left.
The questions to be asked are: Can you make the possible real? Can you carry out your plans? Do you understand your motivations? Do you believe in who you are or what you are doing so that you can call upon the force of Divine Will?
Lastly, it would appear that commitment and faith in your creation, combined with an alignment of Divine Will fulfill the requirements of the Magician. When these elements are in place, this becomes alchemy and that’s the magic.
